Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026. This policy lists every cookie and browser-storage item this website uses and how to control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files, and browser storage is a similar mechanism, that a website saves on your device to remember choices and keep features working. We use both, and we keep the list short.
2. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication session (Lovable Cloud) | Keeps signed-in delegates and admins logged in securely. | Session / up to 12 hours of activity |
| gll27-cookie-consent | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear. | Until you clear it or change preferences |
3. Preferences (always on, stored only in your browser)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| gll-a11y-settings | Your accessibility menu choices (contrast, text size, reading guide and so on). | Until you reset them |
| Language preference | The site language you selected in the language switcher. | Until changed |
4. Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we collect anonymised page-performance measurements (Core Web Vitals — loading speed, interactivity, layout stability) and aggregate page-view events. These contain no name, email or account identifier and are used only to keep the site fast and to understand which regions and partners reach delegates. If you choose “Essential only”, none of this is collected.
5. Third-party cookies
Two embedded services may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
- Google Maps (venue page) — for map functionality; governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Website translation widget — remembers translation choices; governed by its provider's policy.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How to change your choice
Select “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your decision. You can also delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings — doing so signs you out and resets your preferences.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: lab@dignityeducation.org. See also our Privacy Policy.
